Resolution to Approve the Minutes of the Finance Committee Meeting held on 16th May 2011:
The minutes were agreed as being a true copy, proposed by Cllr Watt, seconded by Cllr Snook, all agreed.

Actions Following the Last Meeting:
None.

Resolution to Set Budget for 2012/2013:
All Councillors and the Clerk discussed the budget for the 2012/2013 financial year, it was agreed that a precept of £20,000 would be requested from West Dorset District Council. These figures will be put to the full Parish Council at the November 2011 meeting for final approval. This was proposed by Cllr Creed Castle, seconded by Cllr Mansbridge, all agreed. It was agreed the lengthsman will take on some village grass cutting in 2013, Clerk to write to the caretaker. A request for an additional Salt/Grit bin at the junction of Gassons Lane and Lower Street, Whitchurch Canonicorum, was discussed. The need for a Salt/Grit bin at the top of Star Lane/Sun Lane, Morcombelake was also discussed. The requests for Grit bins will be put to the full Parish Council at the November 2011 meeting. The previously agreed new Notice Board for Whitchurch Canonicorum was discussed, Clerk to gain a quote from S Hughes, Cllr Mansbridge to gain quote from R Smith. Clerk reported, Cllr Johnson has been given permission to move the Notice Board at Whitchurch Village Hall to near the entrance. Clerk also reported, Cllr Johnson suggested Mr V Diment may be able to move the Notice Board and preserve the wood. Finally the contingency sum was increased with the high possibility of additional expenditure regarding Broadband and the Unclassified Road in Whitchurch Canonicorum. It was also noted last year's expenditure above budget was due to the Morcombelake Bus Shelter, additional Salt Bins and the Computer. Action: Clerk, Cllr Mansbridge

Discuss Internal Auditors:
Quotes for Internal Auditor were discussed. Cllr Watt proposed Sue Mullins to do the internal audit 'pro bono' but should the audit systems change, increasing the amount of work for the internal auditor, this would have to be reviewed and S Mullins paid accordingly. Seconded by Cllr Snook, all agreed.

Matters of Urgency:
The planning application for Arne, Morcombelake was discussed at great lengths. It was agreed the Parish Council support the Planning Application in principle however have concern regarding the access. Cllr Watt proposed the comments to be returned to West Dorset District Council, Cllr Snook seconded, all agreed. Action: Clerk
