Consider: Hinkhams, Whitchurch Canonicorum: Cllr Bailey reported on this application to erect a garden room. Concerns were raised on septic/water disposal and neighbours concerns were that it should be sited as the plan. Proposed by Cllr Sage, no objections recommend approval, seconded by Cllr Mansbridge, all agreed. Jasmine, Morcombelake: Cllr Everidge looked at this application. She reported that the previous application had been refused and she could not find out why. She could see no objections with this application and recommended approval. Proposed by Cllr Watt, seconded by Cllr Sage, all agreed. Applications to Note:
West Bullen, Morcombelake: Cllr Parr looked at this application to erect a first floor extension. Concerns were raised over the narrow lanes for a 5 bedroomed property and lack sewerage disposal. Blackmore Farm, Whitchurch Canonicorum: Cllr Bailey looked at this application to erect an extension. No objections, approval recommended. Hinkhams, Whitchurch Canonicorum: Cllr Bailey looked at this application to change of use from agricultural land to residential cartilage and new garage. No objections, approval recommended. Artwave, Morcombelake: Cllr Parr looked at this application to erect illuminated and non illuminated signs. No objections and approval recommended. Approvals to Note: 2080 Reports: Mr Diment reported on the latest situation with regards to the bus stop at Frodsham Garage. He has spoken to Michelle Boon at Dorchester, Highways Agency and Mark Williams. The Highways Agency have said there are safety issues with regards to the fog and that the bus stop is a medium category to be carried out. Cllr Snook reported that she had attended the BLAP AGM and the main talk was on Transition Towns. She also reported that there are now 80 community groups belonging to BLAP. Cllr Tubb reported that work is continuing on the Whitchurch Canonicorum Village Hall cottage. Wood panelling along the bottom of the walls of the village hall has been proposed. The St Georges Day lunch is coming up and booking advisable. Finally he reported that the playground fencing needs to be raised due to dogs jumping over the fence and frightening children using the area. It was also reported that bad language is also used in the area. It was agreed that Cllr Tubb look into the matter of extra fencing. Cllr Snook reported that the Wootton Fitzpaine Village Hall AGM will take place this week. It is reported that the present Chair is standing down so it is hoped a new one will be found. Cllr Watt reported that the lean to/shed has been put up at the James Hargreaves Community Hall and there are steps leading up to it. Fundraising is ongoing. Cllr Watt reported that it is not illegal to park in bus stops/laybys at the moment. Bus companies are to upgrade the bus stops with lines and then it will be illegal and no parking. Cllr Bailey reported problems with walkers again and Oselhaye Bridge being closed. Cllr Everidge reported that she had heard that a spur was being taken off the gas and towards Charmouth. Cllr Ray reported a small but deep pothole which would be a collapsed pipe just before Griddlesay Farm, Whtichurch Canonicorum. Cllr Parr reported that there are no Parish Council meeting dates in the church magazine. The Clerk reported that she has already sent them to the Editor. Action: Cllr Tubb & Clerk PC Forshaw reported that a PACT meeting had taken place and matters discussed were, speeding, flooding and thefts of fuel. He reported that speeding was being checked in areas highlighted where there are problems, bin stickers put on recycling bins, flooding at Stockham Bridge discussed, no reports of thefts in the last six months and fly tipping of fridges regularly in an area. He reported that crime figures will be available on the web site, the percentages will look bad but look at the reports and those figures are what to look at. He also reported that £2,700 of Stop That Thief money will be donated to those in rural areas most affected by crime.
